There are local organizations out there doing some really amazing things for the kids in our community! Score4kids is very excited about partnering with these organizations in order to collectively keep kids healthy, active and strong, both mentally and physically!
We are currently accepting donations for new and gently used sports equipment including, but not solely, footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, baseballs, bats, mitts, lacrosse and boxing equipment. We are also looking to find new or gently used classroom and office furniture! Please take a minute to look around and see where you might have that you aren’t using, it could make a huge difference for a child!
As always we are accepting financial donations to help families in need with the expense of keeping their children involved in organized sports. We value your help and are grateful for the amazing support we have received from this generous, caring community that we live in!

Welcome to Score 4 Kids
No child should be prohibited from playing a sport because their families are going through hard times.
Score4Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to making organized sports accessible and affordable to any child in the Metro Detroit Area. We have been collecting donated sports gear and redistributing it to families, camps, schools and organizations that work with kids of all ages and abilities. We believe that our program is beneficial because being involved in sports can:
- keep at-risk youth involved in safe/structured activities
- teach responsibility, self-esteem and cooperative effort
- keep kids motivated, focused and doing better in school
- increase physical activity which lowers the risk of obesity, diabetes and other health problems
As a result of our efforts we also keep used sports equipment out of landfills by recycling it to help a child in need. 
We work together with local leagues, schools, organizations and camps to get the word out to families of our donations and our need for donations. To date, we have collected thousands of pieces of equipment from various sports including baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, football, rollerblading, snowboarding and golf. We have successfully donated a significant amount of equipment to families, camps, schools and organizations that support kids in our community.
The financial need in Michigan is great. There are many families, camps, schools and organizations that will benefit from Score4Kids, Inc. and its mission. Please consider being a sponsor by either donating sports equipment and/or by making a financial investment in our kids' futures.
We also accept and very much appreciate monetary donations that allow us to help families in need pay for registration fees in order to keep kids involved in organized sports.
